Job LocationsNorth, Central, South, and West Texas.Role OverviewBeyond Engineering and Testing (BEYOND) is currently seeking a Construction Inspector/ highway technician for our north, west and central Texas Group.In this role you perform testing and inspections in transportation projects.This is an entrance level position.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesContact supervisor for priorities and deadlines.Conduct research and problem‐solving.Prepare, testing and inspection reports daily.Inspect materials and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.Handle problem calls from producers, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel.Review correspondence and coordinate inspection schedules.Advise supervisor of inspection activities and problems.Calculate payments due to contractors or subcontractors for completed work.Consult with project engineers and contractors' superintendents on work progress and construction problems.Oversee construction record‐keeping activities a...
