Highway Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Design of Road/Highways in accordance with local and international standards
• Geometric Layout: Determining road geometry, including horizontal/vertical alignments, lane widths, and sight distances to ensure vehicle stability and safety, using DPWH local standard (for local projects), international standards like AASHTO for foreign projects.
• Field works: Data gathering and site verifications of actual site conditions.
• Highway Design reports: Preparation of Highway design and inspection reports.
• Meetings: attend client meetings if requested.

Qualifications

• Preferably at least 5-10 years of experienced as Highway Engineer.
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• Proficient in Road/Highway Design using C3D and Auto CAD software
• Knowledgeable with Local DPWH and AASTHO International standards for Highway Design
