Job Description

Position HISTORICAL INTERPRETER (student - multiple positions available) 
Hours of Work Variable up to 36.25 hours per week 
Location Upper Canada Village (11 km east of Morrisburg) 
Salary $18.45 per hour 
Period of Employment May to September 2026 
Responsibilities Represent one of Morrisburg’s premium and internationally recognized tourism sites. 
Interpret the history of 1860s Ontario through performing and explaining a selection of activities (domestic life, historical trades, farming, general store, mills, school, religion, period music, etc.). 
Work safely at all times and report unsafe activities immediately to your supervisor. 
Embody SLPC’s equity, diversity and inclusion principles while interacting with staff and guests.
