Histotechnologist III

Our Client, a Clinical Laboratory company, is looking for a Histotechnologist III for their Nashville, TN location. Responsibilities:

+ The main function of a histotechnologist is to perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.

+ Review laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results. Supervise clinical studies and other research projects.

+ Instruct staff to operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and computer-controlled analyzers.

+ Develop, standardize, evaluate, and modify procedures, techniques and tests used in the analysis of specimens and in medical laboratory experiments.

+ Establish and monitor quality assurance programs and activities to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
