HOD of instrument

Role Purpose

Provide overall technical leadership, governance, and people management for the Instrument Engineering discipline across FPSO projects and operations, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Instrument Engineering Department, including engineers, specialists, and designers.
• Act as Discipline Technical Authority (TA) for instrumentation.
• Define and maintain instrument design standards, specifications, and philosophies.
• Oversee instrument engineering deliverables from FEED, EPC through commissioning and start-up.
• Ensure compliance with Class requirements (DNV, ABS, BV etc)
• Ensure compliance with international and offshore standards (IEC, ISA, ISO, API, ATEX, IECEx etc).
