Horizontal Boring Machine Operator

Require an experienced Machine Operator to work with conventional machinery (Horizontal Boring) and CNC (optional). The successful candidate will be responsible for machining components used in high-specification pressure equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ongoing contract based in Boksburg

• Holds a relevant trade qualification with 5–10 years of experience
• Demonstrates proven expertise in operating Horizontal Boring for pressure parts and Vertical Drilling Machines for Headers, as well as Radial Arm Drilling Machine, Lathes, and Milling machines
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings with precision
• Skilled in selecting appropriate cutting tools and setting up machinery to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes
• Experienced in working with exotic, high-temperature, and pressure-resistant materials
