Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

A well established and highly respected hospice facility northwest of New York City is actively recruiting far an experienced Hospice and Palliative Medicine Care Medical Director. The new Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and oversight for all hospice and palliative care services, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care that meets all regulatory and accreditation standards.

80% Clinical Time

• Provide medical direction for hospice and palliative care patients across home, inpatient, nursing home, and assisted living settings four days a week. One day for Medical Director Role
• Oversee Six Nurse Practitioners and a Ten Bed Inpatient Facility
• Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and assist in development and oversight of individualized care plans.
• Support advanced care planning and end-of-life decision-making.
