**Job Description**

**UW Medical Center-Montlake Environmental Services** has multiple employment opportunities for **Evening Hospital Custodians.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
+ Evening shift, (3:00pm - 11:00pm) - Rotating every other weekend.

**POSITION HIGHTLIGHTS**

Maintaining cleanliness and care of facilities in inpatient and non-patient areas and administrative offices as assigned

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Cleans and disinfects all furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to procedure
+ Removes and properly handles soiled linen; disinfects and remakes beds in patient rooms; dust and wet mops hard floors with disinfectant
+ Performs bloodborne pathogen and chemical spill containment and clean-up according to procedure
+ Strips, cleans, buffs, and applies finish to floors. Uses high speed floor buffers, polishers, and automated floors scrubbers
