Job Description

Job Description SouthMuskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario requires Hospitalist Locums to support the addition of a new acute care line launching April 1, 2025. 
Description Week-long block of work from Monday 0800 to Monday 0800 
Choose one week or several 
Census goal of 15-22 patients a day 
Support Shared coverage of all hospital in‑patients with a second Hospitalist (excluding the ICU, covered by Internists and Surgeons) 
We can pair you with a local physician familiar with our EMR for support 
Local consults provided by General Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, GP Anaesthesia, GP OB and Palliative Care 
Psychiatry support available from colleagues in Orillia 
Orthopedics support available in Barrie, Orillia, and Collingwood 
On‑site laboratory services, CT, Ultrasound, ECHO, X‑Ray, Mammography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Ther...
