Hospitalist Medicine Operations Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for assigned duties related to employed hospitalist services, including project management for the establishment of a new service, data collection and summarizing results for operations, physician and hospital leaders, collaborating with physicians and physician leaders, and coordinating physician schedules.

Essential Functions

+ Assist with weekly /monthly /quarterly perioperative data reporting, validation, and distribution.

+ Support Perioperative Executive Council (PEC) and subcommittee data needs.

+ Perioperative services dashboard maintenance to track identified perioperative operational, finance and quality metrics.

+ Support the surgery business office in a variety of ad hoc data reporting.

+ Ensure integrity and accuracy of perioperative data daily.

+ Management of Epic’s surgical block scheduling system.
