The Host/Server is a customer-facing position that combines the responsibilities of greeting and seating guests, managing the front door, and serving food and beverages. This role plays a vital part in creating a positive guest experience by being friendly, attentive, and efficient.

•Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a smile and positive demeanor.

• Manage reservations and waitlists using manual logs or software (if applicable).

• Assign tables efficiently, balancing the dining room flow and server coverage.

• Answer phone calls promptly, providing accurate information on hours, menus, or reservations.

• Provide menus and inform guests of any specials or wait times.

• Maintain a clean and organized host station and entrance area.

• Thank guests for dining and invite them to return upon exit.
