Responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Supervise workers and projects.
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• Set up machines and equipment.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Recommend personnel actions.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Leading/instructing individuals.
• Repair and maintain equipment.

Supervision

Supervision: 3-4 people. Working groups. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Waterworks maintenance workers. Trades helpers. Labourers.
