Job Description
As a Hotel Sales Executive at the Mercure Penang Beach, you will play a crucial role in driving the hotel's sales and revenue growth. This dynamic and challenging position will see you responsible for prospecting, building, and maintaining relationships with key accounts and corporate clients to secure new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify and target new sales leads within the local and regional corporate, MICE, and leisure markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Effectively pitch the hotel's offerings and negotiate contracts to secure new bookings
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
What we're looking for
- Experience in hotel sales or a similar sales role within the hospitality industry
