Housekeeping Aid Supervisor

Summary This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of Wilkes-Barre VAMC. The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing task associated with the EMS goals and objectives. Tours of duty may vary depending on the internal department needs with weekdays, weekends, day and evening shift schedules. Responsibilities The position is delegated responsibility for assigning staff for routine and non-routine duties on a daily and a project-by-project basis. Non-routine duties require that the position reorganize work schedules efficiently to ensure work is accomplished in a timely manner. This position is required to coordinate work with supervisors of other services within the positions area of jurisdiction so as not to interrupt patient care or other activities.
