Job Description

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, surgical areas, emergency rooms, lobbies, offices, restrooms, and other hospital spaces.
• Follow infection control procedures, including proper use of cleaning agents and disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitizers as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in accordance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations and ensure compliance with hospital sanitation protocols.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests, especially in high-risk or emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.
