Job Description
MAIN SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for the delivery of clean linens and collection of soiled linens.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Do systematic and proper storing, and maintain enough stock of clean linen in the pantries.
Make inventory taking of all linens and Housekeeping supplies every month.
Prepare the trolleys and report the defects, if any, for immediately repair.
Collect soiled linens from room attendants every 2 hours from 10 am to 9 pm. Separate stained linens (e.g. blood stained linen) from the others during linen collection.
Deliver clean linens to pantries. Linens must be stored properly on a first in first out basis.
Assist laundry staff to fold clean linens, and assist room attendant to tidy pantries.
Report missing or found items to Supervisor and lost and found immediately.
Do any other tasks as assigned ...
