Job Description: Caretaker / Cleaner (2-Month Contract with Local Authority) Summary: This temporary position is designed to cover sickness until 12.8.26, offering a pay rate of 15.37 per hour. The role involves providing a high-quality caretaking and cleaning service across council housing stock. The aim is to ensure communal areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, supporting a positive living environment for residents while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning of internal and external communal areas, including: Sweeping, mopping, and dusting Litter picking and waste removal Cleaning entrances, stairwells, and shared spaces Sweeping car parks, service roads, and outdoor areas Remove bulk waste and ensure safe and correct disposal.
