Housing Management Specialist

Summary This position is located in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, in the Administration and Business Services Division. This position is responsible for administering the housing program for the parks and managing the operation and utilization of family facilities. Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:- Serves as the program manager responsible for directing daily operations, optimizing occupancy, and overseeing the utilization of permanent and seasonal housing units. Formulates and updates park policies regarding housing eligibility, assignment priorities, and tenant responsibilities. Leads the Seasonal Housing Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) through the annual planning and execution of seasonal housing allocations.
