Presidential Youth Employment Initiative: Basic Education Employment Initiative Phase V

The Department of Basic Education, in partnership with SA Youth, is now recruiting for Phase V of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI-BEEI). This opportunity is aimed at unemployed youth who want to gain valuable experience by working in public schools across South Africa.

Monthly Stipend

Participants will receive R4,000 per month (less 1% UIF contribution), plus R30.00 data allowance.

Requirements

• Curriculum Assistants : You must have at least achieved 40% (level 3 pass) in the subject you will be supporting in.
• Reading Champion : You should have passed the Language of Learning and Teaching (LoLT) of the school at matric level and demonstrate a passion for reading.
