A trailer driver is responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods, materials, or equipment over long distances or locally, ensuring timely delivery. Key duties include conducting pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, securing cargo, adhering to traffic laws, maintaining logbooks, and performing basic maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely driving tractor-trailers, including maneuvering in tight spaces and through traffic.
• Logistics & Delivery: Transporting freight to designated locations while adhering to schedules and planned routes.
• Safety & Inspection: Conducting daily inspections (brakes, lights, fluids) and ensuring cargo is properly secured with locks, chains, or binders.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Compliance: Adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
