HPC System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team on a 1-year renewable contract, supporting an exciting project with a global multinational client. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customized SUSE Linux OS images tailored to the client's specific hardware and software needs. You will use configuration management tools such as Salt or Ansible to automate and streamline system setup, while applying test-driven development practices to ensure reliability and maintainability. The role also involves creating and maintaining detailed documentation for all configurations, tools, and processes, as well as developing diagnostic scripts that integrate with existing diagnostic suites to improve troubleshooting for both configuration and hardware-related issues.
