Job Description

An HR Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and running the department: This includes answering phone calls, filing records, and setting up meetings and interviews.
  • Maintaining employee information: This includes collecting work records and timesheets, and capturing employee data.
  • Assisting with onboarding: This includes providing information packets, reviewing company policies, and explaining benefit programs.
  • Preparing payroll data: This includes gathering withholding and other payroll information.
  • Posting job ads: This includes receiving and collating job applicant documentation.
  • Answering general HR queries: This includes responding to employee inquiries about benefits.
  • Performing general office clerical tasks: This includes developing and maintaining a filing system.
