An HR Administrative Assistant's responsibilities include:
- Organizing and running the department: This includes answering phone calls, filing records, and setting up meetings and interviews.
- Maintaining employee information: This includes collecting work records and timesheets, and capturing employee data.
- Assisting with onboarding: This includes providing information packets, reviewing company policies, and explaining benefit programs.
- Preparing payroll data: This includes gathering withholding and other payroll information.
- Posting job ads: This includes receiving and collating job applicant documentation.
- Answering general HR queries: This includes responding to employee inquiries about benefits.
- Performing general office clerical tasks: This includes developing and maintaining a filing system.
