HR Generalist

JOB OVERVIEW

The HR Generalist will play an integral role in the HR Team by working closely with managers and teams from various areas of the business to implement the People/HR Strategy in line with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic and approachable team player who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. He/she will provide end-to-end support across the full employee lifecycle.

This role reports to the HR Manager and is based in Johannesburg. 

Key responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• End to end recruitment, including sourcing, interview screening and coordination with candidates and hiring managers
• Ownership and support of the onboarding process which includes background checks, drafting of contracts, gathering new starter data, ensuring first day readiness, induction and new joiner check-ins
