Role Purpose
You will provide local HR expertise and strategic guidance to leaders and managers in Japan. You’ll keep a pulse on employees and market trends, ensure compliance and offer consistent employee experience for all employees in the geography.
Key Accountabilities
Team Leadership. You will be responsible for day-to-day people management and ensuring strategy is translated appropriately to the local level.
Developing and implementing HR strategy. You will define the HR strategy for Japan, in line with the broader regional HR strategy. You’ll assess industry and market trends and situations to develop and implement HR initiatives in line with the market operational needs. You’ll partner with business leaders to implement strategic initiatives for their respective function or market facing team within your market.
