Role Details
This is a key HSE leadership role supporting Visy’s Queensland operations, with a primary focus on our Paper Recycling and Logistics business units. Based mainly at our Gibson Island site, you’ll spend your time influencing safety performance across a defined portfolio of Brisbane-based sites, typically working three days at Gibson Island and two days visiting other sites. The role will also have the potential to travel interstate to support other areas of the business when needed.
Reporting to the National HSE Operations Manager (Northern Region), you’ll play a hands-on role in driving cultural change, improving systems, and lifting capability across leaders and teams. This is not a compliance-only role - it’s about being visible, building trust, challenging behaviours and helping the business move forward in its HSE maturity.
