HSQE Officer (Dry Bulk)

For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: HSQE Officer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (ISM) across the fleet
• Oversee PSC preparation and follow-up, monitoring all deficiencies, corrective actions, and preventive measures

• Manage and coordinate all RightShip-related matters, including inspections, vetting preparations, and post-inspection responses
• Monitor compliance with MLC, including crew welfare, accommodation standards, and working/rest hour regulations
• Support and participate in internal and external audits, shipboard inspections, and risk assessments
• Review and process incidents, near misses, non-conformities, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare safety reports and maintain departmental KPIs in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
