Human Resources Advisor

OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Advisor, as a HR generalist, has responsibility for a broad range of Human Resources activities at all divisions of Corner Brook Pulp & Paper Limited in support of newsprint manufacturing objectives. The Human Resources Advisor will interact with all levels of management, employees and unions to provide HR support and advice following established programs, policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Health, Safety & Environmental

• Sustain a strong commitment to safety, ensuring safety is kept at the forefront and no compromises are encountered. Adhere to, and promote company safety and environmental policies.
• Participate in investigations and follow-up for non-compliances of rules & regulations.
• Ensure effective operations of the Mill’s medical center and security team on both proactive and emergency response matters.
