Human Resources Generalist

The Opportunity

The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive Human Resources (support across the full employee lifecycle within a unionized, public-sector environment. Partnering with operational and Human Resources leaders, the role supports, learning and development, performance management, recruitment and retention, compensation, labour relations, and Human Resources operations while ensuring consistent application of the collective agreement, Terms of Employment Governing Management/PSP, employment legislation, and organizational policies. Serving as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, the Generalist promotes inclusive and equitable workplace practices, ensures legal compliance, triages and resolves Human Resources matters, supports training and recruitment processes, and contributes to positive labour-management relationships and overall organizational effectiveness.
