Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Description
A Robert Half client is seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist to support a growing, fast-paced organization in the transportation and logistics space. This is an onsite role supporting approximately 100 employees and reporting directly to the Vice President.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and involved across all areas of HR. Location: Elmhurst, IL, ONSITE


Key Responsibilities

+ Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding

+ Serve as a trusted resource to leadership and employees on HR-related matters

+ Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

+ Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook

+ Support performance management, including coaching managers and disciplinary processes

+ Administer employee benefits (medical, dental, ...
