Human Resources Manager - Maternity Leave Contract

Overview

TreowGroup Recruitment, on behalf of our Toronto-based manufacturing client, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a 12-month contract.

Position Overview: As the HR Manager, you will have ownership of the Human Resources function, partnering closely with the General Manager to support operational goals and workforce stability. You will bring structure, consistency, and accountability to all areas of HR — from employee relations and compliance to talent development and workforce planning.

This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is confident operating independently, comfortable advising leadership on complex people matters, and capable of balancing strategic priorities with the day-to-day realities of a production environment. This is an on-site position requiring visibility, presence, and strong relationship-building across the organization.
