Job Description

We are presently recruiting for Substation Commissioning Electrical Engineers for our clients to work nationwide Ireland. You will test, calibrate and validate high-voltage equipment before it enters service. You will verify protection systems, SCADA, transformers, and switchgear performance, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards. This is a full-time position with travel required throughout Ireland with opportunities for all experience levels from recent graduates to senior Commissioning Engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning primary, secondary and ancillary plant forming part of Transmission System

  • Commissioning testing of instrument transformers, power transformers and HV GIS switchgear.

  • Commissioning testing of protection relays using Omicron test equipment

  • Maintain test records and collate test results for incorporation into H&S Files for project.
