Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HVAC Chiller Technician to join a leading mechanical services company located in Ladson, SC through a % onsite role. The HVAC Chiller Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC chiller systems in data rooms, ensuring optimal performance across a variety of industrial, medical, and commercial facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on centrifugal, reciprocating, screw, and scroll chillers (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin).
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems using systematic questioning and proper instrumentation.
  • Conduct chiller overhauls, retrofits, and major inspections as required.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure all safety and limit controls are properly set.
