HVAC Tradesperson

About the role:

Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Tradesperson is responsible for working within a team to carry out HVAC system installation and related tasks to achieve minimum production time and maximum quality, while maintaining a positive and motivated team environment.

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

Essential

• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in shipbuilding Industry.
• At least high school or technical training/vocational school graduate.
• At least 2 years' experience in purge welding (T.I.G) stainless steel, Brazing copper and copper to stainless steel.

Desirable

• Problem-solving abilities
• Time management skills
• Capability to inspect defects and rectify
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and other requirements
• Can work with less supervision
