2 months contract with a Local Authority Job Description Grounds Maintenance / HWRC Site Operative Job Purpose To carry out all aspects of practical amenity horticulture and site maintenance to a high standard, ensuring grounds and facilities meet Grounds Maintenance Specifications and client expectations. The role also includes supporting operations at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), including maintaining cleanliness and advising residents on recycling practices. Key Responsibilities Grounds Maintenance & Horticulture Duties Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and clearing leaves/litter Planting bedding plants, trees, and shrubs Shrub bed maintenance including pruning and division Carrying out soft landscaping tasks (top-soiling, seeding, cultivation, etc.) Maintenance and marking of sports facilities Safe application of chemicals in line with regulations HWRC Site Duties Carry out general cleaning duties across the site Monitor resident activity and provide guidan...
