EDF Power Solutions brings together the businesses of EDF Renewables and EDF Group International Division. As an international energy leader present in over 25 countries, we develop, invest in, build, and operate renewable and low-carbon energy production facilities, as well as flexible power and electricity transmission solutions.
Our portfolio includes technologies for low-carbon electricity (wind, solar, hydro, biomass), system flexibility (battery storage, pumped hydro), and carbon footprint reduction (electric mobility, hydrogen, off-grid solutions).
In Southern Africa, EDF Power Solutions has been active since 2009, with offices in Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Johannesburg. We currently operate 4 wind farms (142 MW) and have 1.5 GW of wind, solar, and battery storage projects under construction. Our ambition is to deliver 5 GW of renewable projects by 2030, including hydropower, wind, solar, and BESS projects.
