Hydraulic Engineer

Job Summary:

In this role, you will conduct field investigations and plan specifications for hydrology & hydraulic design for large projects. You will lead flood analysis, special studies, and interpret regulations. You will participate in new business efforts, interview clients, develop estimates, and participate in proposal preparation. Your technical expertise will contribute to project flood risk prevention and mitigation.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assisting in preparing hydraulic / hydrologic calculations, conceptual designs, studies and reports, mainly for mining projects in aspects specific to the specialty such as: hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood risk and impact assessments, flood protection and mitigation, river training and diversion, riverine erosion and scour protection design, stormwater management and drainage design, sediment control design, pipelines hydraulic calculations and associated permitting applicati...
