Hydraulic Service Technician - Dev

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team based in Devonport. This is a permanent, full‑time role offering a competitive hourly rate of $38.00 to $44.00, depending on experience, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.

The role involves the manufacture, servicing, repair, and commissioning of hydraulic and mechanical equipment both on‑site and within the workshop, working across a range of major‑brand hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, troubleshoot, service, and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems and components
• Manufacture, assemble, test, and commission hydraulic equipment
• Diagnose faults within hydraulic and mechanical systems, with or without schematics
• Read and interpret hydraulic and engineering drawings, including open loop, closed loop, PTO‑powered, logic valve, servo, proportional, and regenerative circuits
