Hygiene Manager - Meat Traders

SUMMARY:
Meat Traders Abattoir (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced  Hygiene Manager to oversee and drive hygiene, food safety and quality standards across the abattoir. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and customer requirements in all departments.
Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve health, safety and hygiene plans, programmes and procedures.
• Supervise hygiene controllers and cleaners and ensure duties are carried out to standard.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee safety and hygiene training.
• Ensure all facilities operate with effective safety and hygiene systems.
• Conduct statutory inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
