IE Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Factory Layout & CAD

• Create, update, and maintain 2D/3D layouts (production lines, workcells, warehouse, utilities) using AutoCAD.

• Validate line balancing, material flow, and ergonomics; propose layout improvements to reduce travel distance and WIP.

• Time & Motion / Industrial Engineering

• Conduct time studies (stopwatch/video), develop standard work and work instructions, and calculate cycle time, takt time, and manpower requirements.

• Perform line balancing, capacity analysis, and bottleneck identification; recommend improvement actions.

• Continuous Improvement

• Support Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and visual management initiatives; track productivity, OEE, and efficiency KPIs.

• Prepare clear reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings and ROI.
