Applicant should:

• Have an appropriate teaching qualification or PGCE
• Be dynamic, with real passion for teaching Maths Literacy
• Have at least 3 - 5 years experience in teaching Mathematical Literacy in the FET phase (IEB curriculum)
• Matric teaching exprience preferrable
• Be able to encourage creativity and critical thinking
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Be willing to engage in administrative duties and assessments
• Be a person of integrity who supports the ethos of the school
• Be SACE registered
• Hold a valid Clearance Certificate
