IGF Gas Instructor

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IGF Gas Instructor to deliver training on the International Code of Safety for Ships Using Gases or Other Low-Flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code). The instructor will teach seafarers and maritime professionals how to safely operate and manage gas-fueled vessels, especially LNG-powered ships.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver IGF Code training courses (basic and/or advanced levels)
• Explain gas fuel systems, safety procedures, and emergency response clearly
• Conduct classroom lessons, simulator training, and practical exercises
• Assess students through tests, practical evaluations, and discussions
• Ensure training meets STCW, IMO, and flag state requirements
• Keep course materials up to date with current regulations and best practices
• Maintain accurate training and assessment records
