Job Description (JD)

• Oversee and support servers operating across various platforms including Windows, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Solaris.
• Manage Logical Domains (LDOMs) and Zones.
• Administer Solaris and AIX clustering.
• Ensure operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, and AIX, along with their patches, are up to date.
• Advise MCIS on best practices related to servers, operating systems, storage and backup, particularly those involving IBM, SPARC, Linux and Windows. Implement and verify OS and server hardening, ensuring vendor-delivered configurations meet standards.
