Implementation & Platform Engineer (In Office) Somerset West

ENVIRONMENT:

Our client is a leading industrial IoT company in South Africa, specializing in AI-enhanced solutions for digital productivity, workplace safety, and employee healthcare. They are currently seeking an Implementation & Platform Engineer to oversee the software commissioning and support of their smart sensors, which monitor mining processes, as well as to ensure high uptime through continuous monitoring of deployed sensors.

DUTIES:

• Support clients in identifying, implementing, and testing optimal software solutions.


• Installation, testing, and troubleshooting of software solutions.


• Calibration and configuration of sensor software installed on site.


• Monitoring servers and sensors deployed in the field on an ongoing basis as part of standby support and during deployment phase of a project.


• Commissioning of software via Ansible, Azure IoT, Git, and Docker Containers.
