Introduction

A leading freight and logistics company based in Durban is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Import Controller to join their dynamic operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all import activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining excellent client service standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Import Controller will be responsible for handling the full import process from receipt of pre-alert documentation through to final delivery. The role requires strong knowledge of import procedures, customs requirements, and shipping documentation, as well as hands-on experience working on ShipShape. The ideal candidate must have 3–5 years' experience in an import control role within the freight forwarding industry.
