Overview
Reporting to the Export-Import Control Manager, The Export-Import Coordinator plays a key support role within CANDU's Export Control Function, providing high-level administrative and transactional assistance to ensure the compliant transfer of controlled nuclear goods, technology, and data. This position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational and documentation skills who are looking to grow within the field of international trade compliance. The role supports the implementation and maintenance of the company export/import licensing compliance program following the instructions and regulations of Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).
Your role
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of export/import permit applications using systems such as NEXCOL.
- Maintain accurate records of all active, expired, and pending permits/licences, and support renewal alert systems.
