Import Operations Coordinator - Melbourne

Due to continued growth this well-established Freight Forwarder has an opening for an experienced Import Operator to join the freight team. In the role you be looking after the end to end import operations for air and sea shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Job registration
• Monitoring cargo availability and status
• Preparing shipping documentation
• Finalising invoices to clients and overseas agents
• Third party billings
• Monitoring movement of transhipment cargo
• Collection & handover of delivery orders and EDO's
• Organising local & interstate road & rail movements 
• Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff 

Experience Required: 

• Import air & sea operations experience within freight forwarding environment of at least 2 years
