Key Responsibilities
Plan imports based on forecast, MRP & ROL
Create & track Import POs in SAP/ERP
Coordinate with overseas vendors, CHA & freight forwarders
Handle import documentation (PI, Invoice, PL, BL/AWB, BOE)
Manage LC / TT coordination with Finance
Oversee customs clearance, duty payments & logistics
Prepare import costing & landed cost sheets
Support negotiation, cost saving & vendor development
Ensure closure of rejections, discrepancies & concessions
Key Deliverables
On-time import of RM & CAPEX
Reduced stock-outs & delays
Cost savings & freight optimization
Compliance with EXIM & customs regulations
Skills & Experience
Education: B. Com / B. Tech (MBA preferred)
Experience: 36 years in Import Purchase / EXIM
Skills: SAP/ERP, Excel, import documentation, coordination
Traits: Ownership, accuracy, negotiation & communication
