Importation Associate

Responsibilities

• Issues P.O. and coordinates to foreign suppliers.
• Coordinates to foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, and brokers ensuring these company’s purchases are completed and maintained in an effective, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Gives updates to all concerned personnel regarding status of all importations.
• Responsible for the collection and preparation of all required documents for Customs releasing including the application of the Authority to Release Imported Goods (ATRIG) prior to departure.
• Sends translation to all Departments prior and upon arrival of importations.
• Ensures correct application of necessary documentation for importations across relevant partners, (i.e. BIR, Insurance, etc.)
• Coordinates on solutions with suppliers regarding product discrepancies, breakages, etc.
• Monitors stock availability of foreign goods and supplies.
