Importation Expert

Responsible for managing the full delivery cycle, including procurement of imported goods and materials. Ensures purchases are cost-efficient, high quality, and compliant with import licenses and permits. Oversees logistics, serving as liaison between sellers and customers.

KRA 1: IMPORTATION

• Coordinate and track shipments.

• Manage import process from purchase orders to invoice review, ensuring fill rate on lead time and volume.

• Ensure that Purchase Orders to suppliers are issued and PO requirement, cargo readiness, payment and pick up are coordinated.

• Secure import licenses, permits, and insurance coordinated with QARD, Finance, GSD, and brokers.

• Negotiates with international and/or local freight forwarders

• Compute duties and taxes and prepare import documents for Customs
