Importation / Purchasing Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Sourcing of local and international suppliers.

· Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials.

· Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.

· Requesting sample products from the suppliers and Requesting a Proforma Invoice from foreign suppliers and evaluating the price and quality of supplies from different suppliers.

· Process requisitions and update management on the status of orders.

· Coordinate with forwarder and broker for processing of shipments, Responsible for all transactions with FedEx and DHL.

· Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

· Preparation of forms for Application to purchase foreign exchange.

· Preparation of forms for Application for telegraphic Transfer as payment to foreign suppliers and freight expenses.
